Projections

This month is going to be so hectic with interviews, final pieces and exams coming up, I cannot wait for January to be Febuary.
Anyway, these are just the first few pictures for my final piece for Photography. I projected my street photography photos onto the faces of a few friends before later on editing them in a black and white effect. I'm planning on damaging and destroying them before hanging them on wire in a forest like area.  The facial expressions of the models are due to a conversation that is influenced by Corrine Day.

Agyness Deyn

Agness Deyn. True to herself and her style. Her flawlessness of being able to pull anything off amazes me and defines why she is so fucking brilliant. I'm in love with her own range of Dr Martens.
She is one of the most well known models and very iconic with her style she presents.
I did an illustration with tonal pencils and a fineliner pen to get all the effects and tones in the picutre. I did an illustrations of her as I thought her look and the way she presents herself is pretty amazing.

Being now the face of Dr Martens it just makes me adore her even more.

Cheap Monday & Turtle Necks

I’ve been longing for a pair of Cheap Monday jeans and finally got a pair (with me having no jeans at all...) which I can wear with the two CM t-shirts I managed to bag for a bargain. Cheap Monday is pretty casual with their designs and what I love is how pretty laid back it is with their symbolic skull t-shirts, slouchy jumpers and rugged bleach patch jeans.

Another craving I have lately is turtle neck tops or polo neck or whatever you want to call it. I’ve bought 3 in a past week from Zara. They’re smart but comfy too where I usually throw it on with a skirt or a pair of jeans.

This is always the case, “What do you want for Christmas?” my reply: “Erm..I don’t know, there’s nothing particular I want...” and like every year when Christmas has finished my reply is: “I WANT EVERYTHING! THERE’S SO MUCH I WANT!”

So my wish list at the moment stands at:

1. A pair of Comme Des Garcon converses-which they collaborated with under their collection PLAY
2. A pair of black patent Dr Marten loafers-that I’m not too tempted to buy with me trying to save money and all
3. With everyone buying the most iconic Alexander McQueen skull scarf it has made me look the other way and I no longer want it but...Alexander McQueen doesn’t fail to disappoint me with his collaboration with the artist Damien Hurst their new collection of butterfly and skull scarves.
4. A brand new apple Mac pro would be wonderful. Thanks. Thank you. Bye. Just something light and portable for design work when I’m off to university or even doing my foundation course.

Docs

I fucking love my dr martens and I'm craving for another pair. With the January sales I want another pair, but a really rugged one or loafers and a burgundy full leather tote back which is pretty cool. They're so comfy and I wear them all the time everywhere (definitely not a girl who would trade them for heels)
